No fan base in the world would go on like your immoral idiots, jumping around with tea towels on their heads, mass party outside the ground, saudi flags, having a go at khashoggis lass, marches on Parliament, saudi picky teas, a petition with 120,000 names on it,defend saudi manuals. Did man city or psg go on like this? Nope. And considering a canny few of our fan base stopped going/ wrestled with their conscience over a manager giving a fascist gesture, I think their would've been uproar at actual fascist murderous dictators taking over. Why not watch Man City play Fulwell Under 8's, they'd win by loads. That would be fun to watch wouldn't it... oh hang on, no it would be shit.

Winning stuff by cheating the system is completely hollow. It's not the pinnacle of club football, it's the pinnacle of using vast wealth to buy an advantage.

To be fair, in another lifetime, I did work in inward investment and spent half of my time pitching opportunities to sovereign wealth funds.

...As above, not saying we're a bad option, just that there's better out there.
