Away Fans at SOL Update

This is what should happen. Stick them in the family zone and move the family zone to the NE corner… I’m sure the fans from the NE corner won’t twist having to relocate slightly if the other alternative is being pelted with coins every other week.
It was in the plans during last seasons break anyway but it’s definitely happening now.

How many fans does one of the lower bowl corners allow for?

So how far will it eat in to either the East or the South stand.

Following a request made on Thursday morning, the EFL have agreed that coins and vapes will no longer be permitted in the away section of the North Stand at the Stadium of Light.

.. They shoud just get the nets up and stop f***ing about ..
Of course there is, this is cheaper and almost impossible to enforce.
.. The money they take can pay por the nets 🐠 ..

Be difficult to police
Agree -would you want to take peoples money off them whilst you are a steward on minimum wage ?
Would think coins are easy to hide ( if you wanted too ) unless metal detectors are used and they can be set off by all sorts !!
However at least the club safety team are trying I suppose .

The confiscating of all coins is an interesting one like. Forcing people to give their money to charity? I know it’s necessary but I’ve not heard of that at any other ground.
The beggars that sit on the bridge and under the Metro station have volunteered to relieve the away fans of their coins.

Madness to put away fans on SE corner where outside almost all home fans pass before and after the game. Good luck policing that.
