This doesnt involve a blindfold does it ?Visiting fans always made welcome in the casino at the ground. Would be happy to meet up for a beer when you’re next down.
And an apple?

Just wonderedEric, what do you mean?![]()
The majority of you will have. The discussion is about a minor element from either side.burnley fan here, had a great day and no trouble at ll , dunno what u lot are on about
met some great home fans
No, I don't support SunderlandYou had problems at Smogland today like ?
totally agree, been birmingham away and sunderland away this week while dealing with a shit week at workHome and away fans getting on and talking in a pub, doesn't make headlines....
Coked up bellends causing trouble does....
The former is what the vast majority would love, before & after a match (win lose or draw...) a bit of time to crack on in a boozer. I've done it many times, but t's becoming increasingly difficult....
You sad old man getting a kick out of watching kids fight. At the traffic lights down from the Colliery Tavern towards Tesco there was a canny little 20 v 20, just young uns but they were properly game, they chased the Burnley lot down past the Vic club and there was a few left on the deck. Went on for a good 10 minutes and was the best entertainment of the day.
Good lad, & rubberface Dad.![]()
Yep.About time we looked after ourselves, and not had these away fans coming and taking the piss
People fighting over football man. It's f***ing embarrassing truth be told. Nobody thinks it's clever. I left on 85 mins and just as well. Violence is the last thing my 8 year old who suffers with anxiety needs to see.
They need to grow the fuck up.
Im not gloryfying dj just reporting what i saw.totally agree, been birmingham away and sunderland away this week while dealing with a shit week at work
met loads of sound football fans and had a great time
i am not some soft lad, i am a normal guy who likes football and loves his club, if u wanna come at me i will go with ya lets have it...but i go to football for a good day/night out
those glorifying violence should have a word with themselves
Someone once posted about back in the day the boards of the two clubs were thick as thieves, 50s/60s. Either way I always have a soft spot for the founder member clubs plus the fact they were one of the few teams that always had scouts in the NE when I was a kid.I like Burnley, always always mates who are fans. Mind, 1995 was a tad barmy. I ended up with a day in the cells and a ban.
I've always found them like us, a proud working class town where you'll be generally welcome unless you take the piss.
Im not gloryfying dj just reporting what i saw.
I was a casual observer more concerned that my son or his girlfriend would get dragged into it, as they have responsible jobs.
I would have preferred it didnt happen, but it did.
To be honest I am more surprised that after 4 years of mobs of young uns coming up taking the piss out of families, and lads by themselves, there now seems to be an active small group who seem prepared to turn the tide .
I have no truck with ANY fan of any club.
Exactly, glad our younguns are dishing it out instead of just letting it happen.Getting bigger by the week. Not condoning it at all like. Game as fuck they are. Away fans have took the piss up here for far too long. As long as no innocent people get hurt...let em crack on.
I saw all this and wondered what the hell was going on. At the time I thought it was Burnley infighting. Not knocking the Burnley lads , they were game. But the Sunderland youth appeared to know "exactly" what they were up to. And more importantly they seemed a tight little mob.
As I said the Milky Bar kid just seemed to come from within the Burnley youth smacking them as he moved back towards his own Sunderland lads.
At first I thought he was charging Sunderland but he just folded back into the mob.
All this was literally 6 feet in front of me, and they knew exactly who they were going for. And more importantly who they werent going for.
I couldnt tell who was who until one group was saying Haway then ya daft C£&nts !
Yeah mate.Exactly, glad our younguns are dishing it out instead of just letting it happen.
