I can still see us throwing it away
Aye, we're mugs for hoping K*nt might do us a favourYou fit in very well on here amongst us with pessimism like that
To be fair, I still think Hampfrica will beat Kent (unfortunately).
What's the pointThe CC is such a unique mint sport it needs to be on tv more, people would watch
Wonder if sky could produce it just with say 2 cameras or 3 like snooker
Like not show boundaries or catches outside the ring
that sounds like the live feed that counties make available these days. There are worse things to watch, in truthThe CC is such a unique mint sport it needs to be on tv more, people would watch

It would be like watching football without them showing shots on goalThe CC is such a unique mint sport it needs to be on tv more, people would watch

Not really. In football, the goal is the danger area. The wicket is the danger area in cricket. And that's what Ratty is saying the camera should focus onIt would be like watching football without them showing shots on goal

Ever seen NFL Redzone?
They do 8 hours straight coverage with one bloke in the studio, cutting across all the games to catch up on the action. Obviously a different kind of sport and very different production values, but it's probably the best single live sport show in the world.
Upgrade the cameras a bit, or even have one featured game and constant highlights form the rest. I reckon that could work.

I am just wondering how cheap they could do it
Looks like they’re showing Surrey. What the actual fuck for man? Yeah let’s show a game with nothing riding on it. Utter morons.
Classic sky ffsYes, big NFL fan (and all American Sport in general).
It’s what Soccer Saturday should be. BT Sport are halfway there with their ‘European Goals Show’.
Cheap as chips. As I understand it, the cameras most counties use are just your billy basic CCTV cameras that loads of people get on their houses now, linked to an internet feed. Obviously the graphics will take a bit of doing IT wise but the installation won’t even come to a grand as a one off payment I’d say.
That’s a massive disappointment.
Not the first time they’ve done something like this either, I think @GordonMuchallNo1Fan alluded to it elsewhere - they could’ve covered the relegation battle or the battle for promotion in Division Two. Instead they’ve picked a dead rubber. Wankers.
