CC :: Durham v Sussex


Missing this game, pretty thankful for it also as there is no way I can get time off. It's been a chore this season and normally I hate missing a game, but genuinely not bothered about tomorrow which is so unlike me.

Hopefully the team can deliver a good performance for the members who have tolerated a lot of rubbish this season.

It's been a really crap domestic season. With the flat decks and all the problems with the balls, the CC was a bit pap. The Blast was a bit sidelined, the ODC is a bit of a second rate competition, and there was no first class cricket for most of the summer holidays.

And results on the pitch have been shite.

Feel like it’s unseasonably cool/cold weather that we can expect for this weeks game too. I know autumn is on the way, so in theory we should expect it to be cooler but I’ve definitely known warmer ends to seasons.

Felt freezing out running these past few mornings.

Unless it’s just because I’m feeling the cold more as I’m getting older :lol:

Aye I was at that one feel like I’ve aged 10 years

Really enjoyed early games watching Potts blossom but been a struggle

The game at gosforth was a low for me as moved so much round to be there

I’ve an image of lees n Maddison laughing after a drop that I cant shake even tho I realise it’s their way of getting on with it

Definitely been alot cooler these last few days like.

I'll be there after work for the first few days then gotta take the car in
 
Should be down after lunch today after passing a late fitness test after being incapacitated with sciatica/back problems for the last 10 days (couldn't even put me socks on at the weekend!)....the joys of getting old eh? :eek::lol:
 
On loan keeper today. Benjamin from Warwickshire. Mackintosh has a "hand" injury.
Durham also announce the departure of Dickson, for "family reasons".
