Derbyshire v Durham 5-8 Sept. County Championship

Agree, but do the club not have an obligation to check that the bats they use confirm to regulations? The umpire had his doubts using his naked eye,why didn't one of the coaches?
I have been surprised at times how long recovery times have taken for some injuries. Perhaps if the club updated members on players' rehabilitation such conspiracy theories on their recovery wouldn't arise.

Do we know that to be true though? Or has someone tipped him off??

Reminds me very much of the ‘illegal equipment’ rule in Ice Hockey this (I know, I’ve already mentioned that). Specifically if and when a goalie uses a stick that is too long (it happens).

The umpire would have had doubts otherwise he wouldn't have called for the bat gauge. He's hardly likely to take that action purely on hearsay.

Think ftecb will give us the points deducted next season and insist we play shamrock all season. Been far better racially abusing people. No penalty for that

I’d be impressed if he’s spotting an oversize of a few millimetres from purely the naked aye. And indeed yes, he IS likely to take action if someone tells/asks him to. It happens in other sports. It’s very common.

£10 per week?
Expensive even at that price. I worry about us with North running the show, he needs to go as well. Confident speaker but his record also speaks for itself.

It was brought in about 5 year ago and regular testing was done but it has since settled down. I suspect the umpire has noticed it as opposed to a random test.
so we need just shy of 300 to win
