Always honest is Eddie, except when asked about the Saudis and he lies saying he doesn’t know anything about it.

The irony of this Mags post on Twitter, talking about Bournemouth fans having an inferiority complex and being a sustainable club with PL money, everything they were under Ashley. The arrogance and lack of self awareness is staggering at times.
I thought exactly the same. NUFC are now entirely dependent upon owner equity injections (unless there are some mega sponsorship deals coming).

Still a number of fans on Twitter saying the squad is not good enough. I guess it is all fans, not just mags, but this explains why Ashley gave up as fans are insatiable.

When they’re getting 9th and 10th for the next few seasons and they’re not strengthening their squad, we’ll see how patient they are. I’m intrigued as to how much the Saudi’s are going to put in, before they realise they’re getting nothing back for their investment.

Note on the author of that article at the top of it :

Iyad el-Baghdadi is a Palestinian writer and activist. He heads the Oslo-based Kawaakibi Foundation

Looks like the Palestinian human rights activists are just jealous of the takeover as well.
