I dont believe he left because of transfers like but if he was pushing for full control then I'm glad they held firm
Took Blackburn up to the Championship. He won promotion to the PL with the Baggies in 2008. They also reached the semis of the FA cup that season.

Obviously he left for money but certainly was frustrated at our transfer business and type of players we were after.

Has he managed in the play offs before? One big plus with Neil was if he got us into the top six he seems very good at managing those games.

Been reading and he had West Brom in the playoff final which they lost then the following season they went up as champions. By all accounts he cleared out their dead wood and replaced them with younger players.
Seems he did the same at Boro and Blackburn as well.
The more I’m looking into him the more I’m quite chuffed if I’m honest. Seems to be a good fit for what we want to do.

FF Wisdom. With the price of metals as they are, a car's scrap value will soon outstrip its purchase price. Folk will be harking back to the days of old style season tickets, wishing they could burn the reserve tokens to keep warm.
