Football Insider say it's Mowbray.

"I want to be gracious in defeat but I know who was the better side on the day - the team with more control and trying to force the game.
"Sunderland are a very organised, defensively set up team and you've got to give them credit for that.

"But over the next 10 games I would suggest we will end up with more points than them because of the way we play. We will score more goals than them."

New signings lol, can you see Mowbray knocking the chairman’s door down asking for new signings? He’s there because he’s a yes man and he’s cheap and unemployed.
Yes man and cheap ?
I take it you know him (and his character) personally then?
He's obviously confided in you how much he's gonna be on (wages) too ?

It’s mental isn’t it. Some people won’t have a word said against the club.

I don’t think they’re to blame for Neil leaving but ffs show some ambition.

Quinny had the right idea with Keano. That’s exactly the sort of appointment we should be making now. A statement appointment to galvanise the fans. Not a jobs for the boys appointment ffs

If Donald had a bigger share there would be hell on. People were kicking off we signed an admin bloke from Eastleigh.

But because KLD lied about who owned the club for a year it's all sound.

He's a safe pair of hands, which is what we need right now. Solid Championship manager who fits the attacking football/develop young player aims. and can start to build on the foundations built so far. We need to play a long game here.
Been saying this for past few days but all you get is no ambition.

Football Insider saying announcement soon. "Within next 24hrs". Oh well. They have been bang on. Peter O'Rourke reporting it. Says he will be in charge on Wednesday.
Rf is this doesn't happen I'm putting you on Ignore forever, if it does, I wont but I'm going to be so pissed off its unreal.

👏👏👏

It’s not a horrible appointment at all. It’s also not the most inspiring. It’s somewhere between those two things.

It’s a safe pair of hands. I’m not sure what people were expecting by the way?

I’m somewhat more sanguine about it than I was on Saturday. I don’t think it’s the worst appointment in the world
Its not the worst but it kind of suggests Speakman's grand plan was words only. Yes, I see why and maybe he will settle us down but its quite clearly a step away from what Speakman has been preaching. He has lost his nerve and, to be frank, any optimism we had about where this club was going has pretty much gone. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
