Not enthusiastic about this appointment, but I suppose if we want someone in immediately then there's only so many you can choose from.

He could be signing on as caretaker mind, which would be much more suitable?
 
He’s definitely not my first choice, but he deserves a chance and our full backing if does get the job. I just want to get our season back on track and build a decent squad.
