Acceptance. I’m not that surprised it’s happened.

I want us to act swiftly and decisively this time. It’s far from ideal we’re coming into two quick fixtures and a transfer deadline as was the case last time we were needing a new manager. It’s inevitable that Dodds and Proctor take over tomorrow but ideally someone else is appointed by Wednesday as I can see nothing other than two defeats with the two mentioned above in charge. Then we’re on 8 points from 6 and the season has a very different feel.
A club of youngsters with no leader. A collapse is nailed on. But dont worry, Gareth Ainsworth will come in and tell everyone how great the fans are and massive the club are, and take some nice selfies whilst we get relegated

I honestly don’t think he can stay now
Me neither, whatever the reason he’s talking to Stoke, whatever the rights and wrongs of both parties, I’d always wonder if his heart was in it.
However gutted I’ve been when players or managers have left I’ve always had the same mantra, they come and go and if they don’t want to be here then they aren’t bigger than the football club.

Why is he saying he wasn't backed? You've spent money we could only dream of so far in this window (FFP restrictions). Is he saying he didn't want the players you've brought in? They seem to be Neil type players from his time at Preston etc?
We have a wafer thin squad and need a good four more players in to make us remotely competitive over a full season. I think that that is the “not backing him” that he is alluding to.
