Really interested to see who we bring in. Wonder if we'll go for a foreign manager who has worked with a DOF before
That's what I'm thinking. With our DofF model there are not many British coaches, lower then Premier League level, who are prepared to work within such a structure.

Well he has a Champions League price tag then.
I would hope so…..but do you think that The Kid and his Cohorts will spend it on a viable replacement before the window closes?
Plus….if he is one of the ‘senior players’ that are upset at Neil leaving, perhaps he will put a transfer request in?
With our club, there are NO guarantees that this shitshow is over yet.

I think this just sums up football in general. One hoof in the nuts after the next.
I’ve got née nuts left the amount I’ve had ower 60 years
Suddenly a great night and great weekend has turned into you kna what
Something seriously wrong at this great club

No sane person deliberately wants a rolling contract when you could have a 3 or 4 year deal, especially in football management.
Neil deliberately wanted that by all accounts so as soon as anything like this came up he could fuck off no questions asked.
Hate to say it like but it looks like we’ve been played a kipper.

Aye but let's blame KLD anyway. Fits the narrative around here.

You're bang on.. We've been played by Neil. But the bloke lacks ambition and we, as a club, have to be aiming for better and more ambitious managers.

Finished 5th in league one and just sneaked through the play-offs semis, with a quality first 5 or 6 games in the championship. Promotion run-in reliant on last minute winners.

Overall he’s been excellent with perhaps a bit of luck but if he’s gone, he’s gone. Need to get over it quickly and back the next one.

I guess it’s more of an issue if we start selling other players before the window shuts…

I call bs on these "not backed in transfer market" comments.
Newly promoted from league 1 team spending upto £10 million.
Rotheram and Wigan are nowhere near that figure.
Stoke have spent a grand total of ZERO this transfer window, paid money for 2 players in the whole of last season, and for 1 player the season before.

Unless they are about to completely change their transfer strategy they aren’t going to back him any more than we have!
