It’s down to Alex Neil. We were promoted last season under him because he can organise and motivate players. Recruitment by itself doesn’t put points on the table. Johnson didn’t manage to do that.

Recruitment helps get good players in, which we have done. It also helps massively if you have a good coach/manager.

Very 1 eyed view. Neil was doing an excellent job organising the team, however we've also signed some very good players under this recruitment team. The process was working.
