If there’s any truth in the latest ‘info’ that Neil is in a car heading for Stoke, he can fuck off.

If he’s even talking to them, there’s something seriously wrong here.
You don't need to look far mate, the state of the Sol, the club shop/ticket office sargas ..... its a shambles of the park.

Yes, we are sticking to a recruitment model that involves youth and low fees. I like it but we need a few older heads in imo but that costs money - which evidently we have not got.

And now this carry on...... all boils down to money

What’s really fucked me off with Neil is the timing, massively disrupting to going into a huge week. He could of had the professionalism to at least do the game tomorrow.

Even if he comes back he’ll be hugely tainted in my opinion

He worked under that system and it worked. No doubting hes a good manager and a massive loss but we shouldn't be deviating from the path we're on. Not for him or any manager

He didn’t actually. He did wonders outside of a transfer window. Run-of-the-day management the same in any “system”.

The first time he’s had to “work” within this system, in a transfer window, this.

New 3 year deal is still my bet here. The words on that statement are very telling. Think your club will offer him a bumper deal to keep him.
That’s what I’m getting from it too, just a strange way of going about things. The club should’ve came out with the statement early doors because if he does stay, a lot of fans are going to turn against him.

All over the place this, if he is still here and not traveling that's not too bad, assume this could be a bog standard thing, if he is currently f***ing off down there though he's a twat.

Maybe the club has to let other clubs talk to him as part of his current deal.

"Hi Stoke, thanks for the call but I'm not interested. Tell us how much your offer is and I'll twist the bosses arm here Cheers. Alex Neil's red n white army"
Correct on the first part, and given he's apparently still at the AOL I'll hopefully be correct on the second part too.

Good on him. The pricks slating him are not aware about two lies the board made to him. And it’s not “pennies” as one cry baby suggested there. AN tentatively asked about a contractual promise that never transpired on Wednesday. They undervalued AN. Good luck to him. Now watch us tumble down the f***ing division.

Ohhh, an ITK. Do spill.

I haven't said that. We don't know what has happened. People are immediately blaming the club and I'm seeking some information on what the club has done to make Alex Neil want to talk to Stoke the club's fault

Club left themselves wide open if they happen to have a successful manager that’s why the club are to blame.

"Following a formal approach by SCFC, the Club is contractually obliged to permit the Head Coach to start a dialogue with the Potters."

If he wasn't interested, he would have said no.

We all know what's going to happen now.
We don't know whether he's said yes, though? Do we actually know they have had/having talks?

Irrespective of whether he is in a car or sat in front of a bastard Dell Vostro on TEAMS, he has been given permission to talk to them, he didn’t have to ask for that permission nor does he have to talk to them. Too late for him now
