The buck doesn't stop with the DOF.He’s the DOF.
Sack him even though we’ve given him permission to speak to them?
It isnt and Mr Neil takes some of the blame. Got the contract he wanted and knows the route the club are going down. If he's asked to speak to them I'd wish him well and I'd replace him immediately. The club should be changing its approach for anyone
Seen them both at the sea front with their families a few weeks back. Just assumed they lived here. Maybe it waa a visit. It’s not healthy mind for a manager to take a job and not move his family to the area. He lives with the assistant manager in the same place Johnson used to be in.
This
How can you expect players to commit to the club when the manager isnt commited.
Im not panicking yet as well hear from horses mouth at 2pm. But if he travels to Stoke for talks we need to sack him
Really hope to see his 'dont give a fuck' face as he says to some journo "its all a load of rubbish as far as im concerned" in this press conference.
Please.
When it comes to next manager markets I agree you've got to take odds with huge pinch of salt. Anything longer than 1/5 at a high street bookie is a long way from certain. And there is the Gambling industry/instant media bullshit nexus in a nutshell.
When people quote 'the odds' it seems like probability or prediction. It's nearer to Mystic Meg, but the one thing you can absolutely rely on is that the bookies will clean up.
He must be absolutely crazy to leave after bringing in his own players and getting the team playing well. If he goes I hope it goes tits up for him, he didn't seem that type of man to drop a club like a stone and for the sake of Stoke? Dear me. Team may suffer if they don't get behind the next manager, if he leaves that is, remains to be seen.
The POMO padThe Shag Pad.
Do what to ourselves?why the fuck do we fuck it up every time things are going well
teams looking ok, squads got a good feeling
then we do this to ourselves 24 hours before a f***ing match
I’ve no doubt there will be failings from the club if he is to go, I just can’t believe he’d be so quick to chuck it all in for a move to stoke, given the momentum and the trust and support he’s has from our second to none fan base.Wrong attitude completely, imo.
If he leaves us for Stoke - despite the relative size of each club’s potential (to us as outsiders) - then we should be asking what has gone wrong behind the scenes, for him to make that decision.
Just shows how shit he feels we areWe’ve also got rich owners
Stoke don’t receive parachute payments anymore and get nowhere near what we get through the door so I fail to see how they can pay these massive wages and we can’t.
If we lose him to Stoke Dreyfus can fuck off
This seems the more likely scenario and journalists looking for clicksAn optimistic take on things might be this.
Stoke have asked for permission to speak to AN and it’s a condition of his contract that he can speak to clubs who make an approach this way.
The talks haven’t taken place yet.
Once Stoke revealed their interest the owners here schedule an emergency meeting with AN this morning in order to thrash out a new deal to ensure he stays.
No idea what’s going on but here’s hoping..

Yes I would.Sack him even though we’ve given him permission to speak to them?
He's mentioned it himself, the route the club want to go down. He knows and knew what the job was. If he leaves then it's of his own accord. Even if he's asked to talk to Stoke I'd move him on.Sometimes you can read between the lines
It may well be a big difference of opinion over what was agreed when he was appointed with regards to recruitment. Neil perhaps wanted a bit more experience and it either hasn’t been delivered or pursued.
If he’s been given permission to speak to them I’m now leaning towards a position of replacing him anyway.
