Mistakes are always likely to happen of course.

This is far from ideal but ultimately it is far better to suffer than instability than change course.

I wouldn't say it was mental, more a sign of things goings well.
I know what you mean but thats not my take on this funnily enough

I don’t think a coach being willing to speak to another club, currently below us in the table, is necessarily a sign of things going swimmingly well behind the scenes.

FFS i was worried about him leaving if we had lost the play offs but thought (and still hope) he’d be up for having a crack at the championship with SAFC.

Got me thinking why me? Why always little old me? I ran a 5k for disabled children last month and I once helped a nun to safety after she had a fall on a busy road just outside of York city centre 😭😭😭

I don’t know what Neil wants or what he’s paid, the only thing I know for certain is Stoke are interested in him and SAFC have given him permission to speak to them.

Everything else is conjecture and opinion at the minute but I reiterate that if our CURRENT manager believes Stoke City is a more attractive option than us, he can gladly leave as he’s not the right person for our club.

If anyone decides Stoke are a more attractive proposition than us, then we need to take that on board and start asking very serious questions as to what’s wrong behind the scenes, for him to think that.

Has he really got permission to speak to Stoke?
I suspect the “permission” thing could do with clarifying, which none of the articles do.

It could mean we said “yeah whatever we don’t care”

It could mean there’s a clause in his contract saying if a championship club comes in and is willing to pay X compensation, that we have to let Neil talk to them

It could mean a lot of things

May have been a demon nun

Could this be a clause in his contract that we have to allow him to speak to a club if the come in for him? He could have no intention of going.
All wishful thinking mind

I disagree, with this post and the majority of yours on this thread.

Would make for an interesting discussion at some point but probably not now.

You disagree?

Not sure how, to be honest. It’s easy to draw a pretty straight line between the day AN arrived, and our change of fortunes.
