I dunno really. As I have got older me perspective and the roll football plays in my life had completely changed. I try not to be condescending towards your club as there is essentially nothing between us IMO.

Edit - I'm not condescending towards your club because there's nothing to be condescending about ultimately.
I disagree. As a neutral, having worked at the 3 north east clubs and closely with all of the fans of the clubs I've got to say I find Sunderland and Middlesbrough people salt of the earth, hard working north east folk.

Newcastle fans I find to be the opposite, I find the majority have a superiority complex and live in a bubble where 'The Toon' is the centre of the universe. They've always strived to be loved and seen to be above everyone else so it didn't surprise me when the fanbase, en masse bent over for the Saudis. As a result, Newcastle's working class image died. In truth, it was already dead, from the late 90s they've had a complex.

To me Newcastle United aren't a North East club anymore, everything that tied them to the area and the moral fibres of the area has been ripped away. The club formerly known as Newcastle United are an annexation of Saudi Arabia.

So to sum it up, NUFC fans are nothing like those of their former neighbours.

Strip isnt even theirs. Notts County let them borrow theirs when they couldn't play in red and white.

Own fuck all rights to owt and even the cloob is not theirs. It's the camel humpers now.

Pity the Saudi blood soaked dollars can’t buy them a decent internet forum for them to populate. Theirs are all absolutely desperate. A bit like their patter on here.
What’s the point of boards where they all fall over themselves to say how great they are and the best fans in the walled !!
Any descent is shot down in flames, a bit like their new owners I suppose

The fact that Hall and Shepherd had made them all but bankrupt before Ashley rocked up has escaped his intellect 😂

The Hall's and Shepherd's 'only' took the thick end of £100M out of the club in dividends, salaries and share sales. The good old 'geordie nation' fleeced by their own.

History lesson! - before Ashley took over they were finishing up to 46 points behind the real United. They "challenged" for one season, or more accurately "capitulated" 12 years before Ashley, the season after they got second on goal difference from two other clubs but were as close to 5th as to the Champions. In the seasons of this century until Ashley bought in 2007 they finished as low as 14th, never near the title and twice finishing below us.

Those are the historical facts.

It’s not important to them who they are signing here. They hardly know anything about him. Yet on twitter he’s the next Zlatan or Henry. There was a spanish league expert on totalsport last night saying he’s hit and miss and if he was transferred between two Spanish clubs it would be for a fee of around 15m euros. Hinting that the fee the mags are paying is ridiculous. For them it’s just the fact they can spend this sort of cash. The owners will know this. Regardless of who they are signing it’s all about the amount of money they are spending. It keeps the mags off the owners backs.
