Isak averages a goal every 2.5 games across his career. He's 22 and will only get better.

Plenty of people have heard of him - you only have to watch the Euros, Champions League and La Liga. If you haven't heard of him, that's more your issue than his.

There's some on here who hadn't heard of Kalvin Phillips...

Ross Stewart, just prior to his move to Sunderland, scored 2 in 19 league games for Ross County...
Oh look, it's Skunky McSkunkwhistle

Just going off their run in from last season as well, definitely getting things right on the pitch. The appointment of Howe has been a masterstroke really very good manager.
They were decent on sunday. Not sure about Howe as a masterstroke appointment mind. Time will tell.

Howe is average by premier league standards. Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Conte etc. aren't exactly quaking in their boots.

Hopefully a nice bad run is just around the corner and then the pressure will be on the manager and the team.
They'll be hounding him out soon enough. Did war gud job but need a real manager when pedigroo.

He's a very good player isak like. Interesting that a swede is signing for the saudis. Their football federation hasn't exactly been quiet about their disapproval of Qatar hosting the world cup.

I suspect it'll be a transfer that will cause a reasonably large degree of embarrassment in Sweden.

It's also clear that the saudis are going to spend a boatload of cash. Its all very grubby but they all appear to be happy to have a bunch of psychotic murderers as owners as long as they are splashing the cash and buying trophies.

1 goal every 2.5 games for a £60M striker isn't great. Darwin Nunez is a goal every other game for example.

Ross Stewart has scored 31 goals in 60 games for Sunderland. He's a late developer. He played non league in Scotland as a teenager and he signed for a professional club at 20.
So players can improve. Which was my point.

I read on here before the game that they were going to get spanked off the champions 4 or 5 nowt.
That's called wishful thinking. Man city had an off day and walked away with a point
Who out of Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs will they finish ahead?

You think their squad is only one player (Isak) from being able to compete with those over the course of a season?
Not a single one of them.
