Everton didn't want to send two players on loan to the same club that play in the same position. They'd be competing for minutes. Everton would only sell to us and we didn't want to buy.Didn’t work with Broadhead.
Not off, between us and BlackburnIs this definitely off? Liked the look of this lad
If I remember rightly he returned the following January but was a long time ago nowDidn't jonny Evans do that with us?
Absolutely notIs this definitely off? Liked the look of this lad
Not what Neil said is it? He said that the deal was in place and it was Broadhead who changed his mind late on (AN hinted that he thought he maybe didn't have the bottle to come and fight for his place given how Simms and Stewart had started)Everton didn't want to send two players on loan to the same club that play in the same position. Seems fair enough. The lad has to make sure the deal is right. Fingers crossed Brighton get him to sign soon. You must be logged on to see media items
nobody knows....we have the word of a journo from Blackburn saying looks like he's coming here, and Alan Nixon who says it's a toss up between us and Blackburn but any of us could have said that and sound plausible......nobody has a clue until he signs or doesn't sign, then all the so called itks will say they knew all alongIs this definitely off? Liked the look of this lad
That's what somebody said on here, but is it really true?Everton didn't want to send two players on loan to the same club that play in the same position. They'd be competing for minutes. Everton would only sell to us and we didn't want to buy.
Although the holes were rather smallI read the news today, oh, boy
4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
Hell of a signing that unfortunately.Clarke to undergo Boro medical
Brighton's Matt Clarke will undergo a medical at Middlesbrough in the next 24 hours.
Boro have agreed a £2.25m deal with the Seagulls to sign the centre-back.
In the last few minutes, Graham Potter has admitted this transfer is "pretty close" in his news conference.
Could influence things
I'd say decent bit nothing more than thatHell of a signing that unfortunately.
This. Spent the last 3 years at servy and wba. Well over the top reactionI'd say decent bit nothing more than that
Not according to Alex NeilThat's what somebody said on here, but is it really true?
Wigan already had 7 strikers when Broadhead signed. Not what Neil said is it? He said that the deal was in place and it was Broadhead who changed his mind late on (AN hinted that he thought he maybe didn't have the bottle to come and fight for his place given how Simms and Stewart had started)
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert HallAlthough the holes were rather small
They had to fill them all
Just posting what Neil said, and that's a minor part of the main comment, which Neil added as maybe the reason - the point stands that he said it was Broadhead who decided against the move, not Everton or us as you stated, and that there was an agreed deal in place. It was in a video interview with him posted on here, so straight from the horse's mouth. Some people on here previously said it was unlikely that Everton would send 2 players, but is there a link for Everton actually stating this?Wigan already had 7 strikers when Broadhead signed.
