Jan Paul van Hecke (rumour)

Is it? At this moment in time the (admittedly limited) things we’ve seen from him have been pretty mediocre. More importantly - he can’t get a game in a back three that’s short due to injury, and is having a CM shoe-horned in ahead of him. Doesn’t suggest AN is particularly impressed so far either.

I’d say it’s totally fair to be - at the very least - undecided.
He’s competing with Cirkin, who has been one of our best performers, for a spot.

Incidentally, that’s Cirkin who a load of people on here also wrote off as shite not so long ago.

Bit misleading this. He sees him in the cirkin role as he's said previously. He's not going to put him on the right of a 3 is he?

And Neil has actually said this but it doesn’t stop people completely ignoring what the manager has said — 09 has been getting the nod as he’s right footed and and is a bit more mobile. Alese has a 3 year deal, plenty of time for him to come good.

I wonder if any of these writing players off after the equivalent of one game use this approach in dealing with a new starter at work. Maybe they have been written off in a new job because they didn’t understand something by their first break …

we once had a junior who was written off by his supervisor because he ate his sandwich at lunchtime in a funny way.
This was a law firm......

Be alot of the same people who have said 'I didn't rate cirkin 6 month back but he's alright'... the biggest issue is where they didn't rate a young lad who started well and just had a bad few weeks after an operation.

Some people on here don't have a clue.

Perhaps Alise was brought in as cover for cirkin, but credit to how wellcirkin started the season alise has had very little game time
Anyone using the fact that the totally left footed Alise isn’t playing on the rhs of our back three as evidence that AN doesn’t rate him is being obtuse. It’s clear why he isn’t in the team right now, and it’s exactly the reason you outline.

Read the last one and that was enough

That explains it then. Typical.
He said ‘let’s be cautious…’ because Alese was also rated by his fans. The implication was clear. At least have the courage of your convictions if you’re going to be swept along in bellend-ry.

I’m not being swept along by anything. My own posts set out my own views. Not what you may or may not have “implied” in to posts someone else made.

Get some right clowns. Which reminds me, I worked for a circus for 15 years. I didn’t perform or anything but they never finished me.
I was the only one who could get the tent back in the bag.😜

And Alex Neil has made this absolutely clear as well
