Jan Paul van Hecke (rumour)

Football is very fluid in this country. Our league system means clubs will be changing places constantly. There isn't a set pecking order for the vast majority of us.
There probably wad be if idiots werent getting involved.
Theres 13 clubs imho who if ran well wad be constant presences in the PL as they’d all pull in bigger crowds than the chasing pack in similar circumstances. Four in London and Lancashire, Two in Yorkshire and T&W. One in the West Midlands. The chasing pack are pretty much similar sized and wad be swapping in and out of the other PL places.
The PL and TV companies wad love it just love it.

He’s quite clearly saying they were wrong, writing the lad off which is ridiculous.

Is it? At this moment in time the (admittedly limited) things we’ve seen from him have been pretty mediocre. More importantly - he can’t get a game in a back three that’s short due to injury, and is having a CM shoe-horned in ahead of him. Doesn’t suggest AN is particularly impressed so far either.

I’d say it’s totally fair to be - at the very least - undecided.

Location plays a part too nowadays, marra. Take Burnley for example, once the biggest club in Lancashire. Man Utd and City couldn't have even touched them at one point.

The lad is 21 and has played 96 minutes of football for us.
It’s genuinely mental that people can’t grasp that it might take more than 96 minutes of football for a young lad to settle in.

It’s not fair at all. Just look at how some got at Cirkin and Evans last season, and Gooch far too often. Patterson too. Knee jerk reactions based on very little and without a sense of realistic perspective. It often takes time to settle and establish yourself, wait for the right chance etc.

”Biggest”? Naaah. There’s a difference between “biggest” and “successful…..est”. But I nar what your getting at.

He is left sided that’s why he hasn’t been played, you have written him off already! This place just gets madder and madder

Pretty much every player in our squad has been written off at some point like. It’s hideous.

Bit misleading this. He sees him in the cirkin role as he's said previously. He's not going to put him on the right of a 3 is he?

There’s people on here thought Colback wad be a better player than Henderson. There’s also some who told us Alec Neil wasn’t good enough for SAFC.
Ive heard SAFC staff tell players to ignore this place and use Henderson-Colback Syndrome (or HCS as it’s known) to illustrate how little some SAFC fans know about the game. Dont let it bother you marra, the club certainly don’t let it bother the players. Unfortunately these HSC types existence helps muddy the waters around the few good ideas this place has. IE the opposition to the ticket office/club shop fiasco. Which allows the club to brand us all as nuts.
