Latest boxing crack

Eddie Hearn will be making sure the Judge that scored that for Joshua is on the short list for canelo v ggg ;)

Final thought on the fight, Joshua went with a similar gameplan (with a few extras, like bodyshots) as the 1st fight, executed it better but still lost to a better boxer.
Why he didnt go with his strength (i.e 1 shot power) and prepare for a 4 round war...
Wilder will destroy him
Imagine Wilder sparking him clean out with Fury laughing in the front row
Think it would actually still be a very interesting fight 50/50

If Fury fancies another two fights he beats him on points then knocks him out. But it’ll be his hardest two fights of his career.

So Joshua burst into tears in his post fight conference.....starting to think he should maybe pack it in if hes not in the right frame of mind.

Some of his comments in the build up were odd, the way he went on after the bell was batsh*t with fans, usyk, press and grabbing the mike. And now he fronts upto the press conference (which he really should have skipped) and breaks down into tears...

Sad state of affairs tonight for me, I thought AJ looked spooked before the fight, much like he did before the first Ruiz one, I wondered if something had gone on before he came out the dressing room again. I genuinely think the guy has issues with his mental health and they came pouring out after the fight. Was painful to watch him fall apart like that, the guy has been a credit to British boxing these last few years, typical of many to have a go at him because he has the cheek to show a little confidence in his career, how dare he!

All credit to Usyk, showing again he’s top 2 or 3 pound for pound in the world, especially after his last 12 months!

Fury would take both of them apart and to suggest anything other is ridiculous. Like the bloke or not, his skill set combined with his size make him a great in any era. Usyk wouldn’t be able to handle him.

Would be nice to see AJ build up to a fight with a revatalised Wilder, Fury to beat Usyk, and who knows, perhaps Fury vs AJ could still be on the cards late next year

You think Joshua will continue to get pay days on the back of being a serial loser?

Absolutely no doubt, he’ll still be a major draw and if he wins a walkover fight against in December I could easily see him in with wilder next year

Which absolute moron would schedule a Boxing event during a World Cup? Boxing is effectively on a hiatus from late November until January because of World events.

I felt sorry for AJ tonight despite my dislike of him, he's been surrounded by commercial leeches who convinced him he's the top 2 in the world. The comparisons Sky made comparing Usyk to Charles Martin was beyond a disgrace and exactly why everything's gone badly wrong. He's possibly not even top 5 - The likes of Hunter, Wallin etc would give him problems. And reality has literally smacked him in the face. Hearn, Garcia, DAZN, the lot of em all parasites and should be responsible for tonight's events.
And not a single one of them offered to emotionally support him during his mental breakdown, just stood and watched.

I don't think AJ will be sleeping properly for quite some time after that speech mind.

"I don't know what's happening in Ukraine at the moment but it's not nice" ffs :D :D

This thread man :D

Look, this is how it is. Fury is the number 1 fighter (but is a prize bellend) taking the piss out of the fight tonight on his social media after retiring. Clearly coming back. Hate the bloke but can’t deny his talent.

AJ tonight went out on hi shield that’s all you can ask for in truth, but he has been beaten for me twice the only man that gives that fat chunt Fury problems

AJ could retire tomorrow and nothing to be ashamed of. Reminds me of Bruno a bit but slightly better. He can go and fight Wilder (if beats Helenius)…Whyte/Chisora/Joyce/Parker etc etc but I don’t think he will. He will fuck it off now. Nowhere to go, and whilst Fury and Usyk about will never be champion again. His outburst tonight was lifting tbh, but the emotion poured out. He has been a credit to the sport and this country and I can’t understand the hate in all honesty. I pray and hope Usyk v Fury is made as I’d love to see Fury lose, he’s not likeable for me and all fake.

Joshua is what he is/was and gave the real boxing folk some good memories. Up to him what he does now like
Only one to give Fury problems ? So you don’t think Wilder did when he put him down a few times ?

Something that overrated mental case AJ wouldn’t do
AJ did well blocking most of those punches with his head
😂😂

Just woke up, burst out laughing and then remembered how much Joshua embarrassed himself. For everyone’s sake, I hope that’s him finished.

Struggling to see how he can expect much support from the British boxing fans after that racist outburst
Was an old one of his that one mind but that last night was weird. Lots of rants with swearing about who he was and going on about old champions. Usik just looked confused and kept his cool well. Think he was a bit gobsmacked
