Underselling ourselves there imo. Aye we 100% need some quality additions to this side but Haway man look at the way we’ve played in every game this season so far, could easily of had 7 points more.

If they look 4th in the premiership and we only lost 2-1 with 10 men for an hour, we’re doing pretty well surely?

I agree currently we’re about a 16th place side. Most would take it at the start on here but it’s going to be a dull season with a lot of moaning. Winning 1 in 3 or 4 is tough.
 
I was parked on the opposite side to our end so had to walk through their fans to get to the car. Heard a few of them mention in passing how dangerous our front two are and that we are a decent team, few of them also said the sending off changed the game as they hadnt really threatened much until then (as we all know).

As for Sheff Utd, they look really good for this division. They move the ball quick, play with pace, play nice balls in through the channels and have marauding fullbacks. Thought their No.2 was outstanding tonight.

Definitely the best team we’ve faced this season although it’s difficult to say how good they really are when they had an hour against 10 men. Totally different game after the red card as we have no option but to sit back, tuck in and allow them to get crosses in.

Better team for 30 mins until the red card
They couldn’t create a decent chance in 45 mins and relied on a set piece to score the first
They scored a very good second goal but again we got one back they wobbled
Additional subs and fresh legs of good quality then gave them control against 10 men and Patterson made some good saves.

Think you are being hugely harsh on the players and performance by using the word outclassed.

We definitely need more players to make the mark we can in this league

Am I though? First QPR and now S**ff**ld U**ted. Let me put it this way. I feel it’s David v Goliath every time. We cannot keep on playing a team of “prospects” like Alese and Diamond and “inexperienced” Championship players like O’Nien and Pritchard. Because whilst I acknowledge both types within the squad do seem to perform to a degree it’s obviously still not enough to secure wins consistently at this level - we have only won once this season.

I’m simply desperate for us to get a nice little string of wins together. Just one or two. You can all call me all the names under the sun again if you all think it makes you big. Let me tell you this for free!! Nothing in the world you can say can hurt me more than seeing us go another week without a win. I would love nothing more than to see us win a game. in fact I want a win more than survival right now. If you gave me a choice I’d take ONE win over survival every time. And it’s killing me to see us still not good enough to win. I’m starting to feel I don’t know when the next one will be. But if and when it comes you will have nothing to hurt me with. Because I will be so overwhelmed with joy. Then where will you be? What will you do with your lives? Just you wait.

Not sure where the next win is coming from? We last win than less a fortnight ago. Our only loss has been against one of the best sides in the division, away from home, who we outplayed until the red card and were unfortunate not to come away with a point despite playing with 10 men for an hour.

You don't half talk utter shite
