Ticket shambles today

My brother has sent an email to the club about the 10% off. Said he went to two bars and non of the staff even knew anything about it. They each asked other colleagues behind the counter who in turn didn't have a clue. The 10% discount was on the screen of the till as an advertisement as well.
To be fair to the young lass in the club shop yesterday (got the bairn a ball as no shirts - surprisingly!) she asked if I had a season ticket and applied the discount. I didn't even think about it.

Area should be seeking an emergency meeting with the club in order to understand the difficulties in order to work together to sort the issue. Otherwise loggerheads and back to square one.

The fsf are, as I understand it, a fan organised pressure group, IE have no official or legal role or power.

There must be someone whose job it is to ensure legal practises are being carried out by companies happy to take your money.

The way the club is being ran ATM is a f***ing disgrace there's no way of dressing this up. 99% of people are fine (still being treated like shite but getting what they pay for) so it's not a major issue but for those of us shafted it's totally unacceptable

I know you're not defending the club over this btw

Cheers, I'll forward me email to that address anarl
The FSF are definitely more involved in football than the ASA or Trading Standards

They work closely with the premier league and EFl and provide a lot of legal advice for fans.

Whereas I’ve never heard of a single instance of ASA or TS getting involved in football despite the chancers that have tried to make money from it
Then you're totally wrong, Trading Standards are there to enforce the Consumer Rights Act on Businesses and that's who they should be reported to.
Wrong. Happy to help

Aye fair, but it's more about putting pressure on those who can do something rather than having any authority themselves?

email [email protected]

I put it all to them last week, tried to condense everything from these threads to ask them if they are even aware of the problems. Eventually got a reply from a Karen Carney (assistant to the board) then a seperate reply from Chris waters, both asking for me to contact them (I think regarding missing season tickets ) but I'm away to the Carribbean today for 2 weeks so not sure if I have the energy for long distance calls when I'm on the beach. But I'd email that address ..it's definitely got through
So based on that I imagine the email addresses will be:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

It's not just the football side of the club, the shop and hospitality are a joke.

I've had numerous emails unanswered asking how I might spend my money for a family birthday - I am not talking 50p here, more a few hundred.

They can go bollocks.

So the season ticket holders, who will sit in the same seat every game, weren't allowed in the seat they've paid for?

But someone who has bought a single match ticket didn't get moved?

They really haven't got a clue.

The club shop before the game was also a mess. I've never seen the queue inside that long before. No junior kits. Pretty much only lasses sizes left.

You’d hope so!
Just reread that ffs. Shocking it should even be a debate. The original holders of those seats should get them back and those that were there for the Coventry game should get a £20 drink voucher and shifted.

There was a lad behind me on Friday who hadn't received his Sheff Utd tickets (he wasn't the only one). He's been advised to wait til the weekend to see if they'd turn-up. Bearing in mind the game is on Wednesday and its bleeding shut Monday and Tuesday, what was he supposed to do if they didn't?

Just get a couple of people answering the phone man. Sweet Jesus.
My mate ordered on +20 phase his ticket has come, no sign of my 4 from the 1st phase and I'd be surprised if they did drop on floor tbh, already planning having to head to blades ticket office with proof of purchase for re-prints
