The Hundred 2022 Match Thread


Big crowds due to affordable ticketing, loads of kids there enjoying it, on free to air TV. Plenty positive aspects to be taken from the Hundred.

It could be improved however.

I look forward to the replies :lol:
 
Well I’ve not seen Sam Curran play that well with the bat for a canny while

Some good action from both sides. I see Potts has been pulled out of this for the tests though

A lass at work was showing me the highlights (I try not to be too curmudgeonly about it with her as she's just getting into all forms of cricket so politely watched it) Couldn't believe how far in they were! Talk about trying to manufacture things even further
 
Saw the last few balls of this game. Nasser got excited when Curran took a bog standard single. That drop at the end looked a bit suspect. They don't have Man of the Match they have a match HERO!. As well as a medal you get a cap that says Match Hero. At the beginning of T20 counties were giving free caps to the crowd.

It also looked like most spectators decided to head home rather than stay for the women's game.
