NEPL 2022

Big game this weekend at the top of the table as South North play Burnmoor. You'd have to think that if South North won, then the league would be pretty much over as this is the last weekend of red ball games. The orange ball games only allow for a maximum of 20 points and it's therefore a lot more difficult to play catch up. A Burnmoor win would open things up nicely for another proper title race just like last year.

I thought the 50 over stuff was the first half of the season 🤷‍♂️

Eppleton look doomed now with Whitburn and Eppleton likely in the final spot battle. Too of NEPL1 now a 3 way battle after Ashington defeat at the weekend

Promotion to NEPL could be a play off between two second top teams, Tynedale and Durham City as top 2 don't have clubmark

Least promotion/relegation makes the end of season interesting

How's Castle Eden doing?

Out for a 6 ball 🦆. Meanwhile the next kid on the taxi rank Ben McKinney scored 113 for Hetton Lyons.Another outside bet for a RL50 game could be Ross Whitfield. Not sure what's the score with Pooly Harry Crawshaw but I think the well has totally drained 🤔

Hetton Lyons at whitburn on Saturday but with work-football commitments and possibly a gig in the evening I might miss it all

Great recovery by hetton 50-5 ish and should post around 150-5 in fret you could lie down on
Pringle has hit 24 off 5 starting the chase 😂
Pringle reaches his 50 in the 4 over
BHH

Cheers. Was gonna have a look but won’t now!
Absolutely insane today. Bournmoor won both games by 10 wickets in double time.. Pringle got 81* off 23 in the first game and 114* in the second not sure off how many but in the 10th or maybe 11th over
114* off 34 (thirty four) balls

If bournmoor had batted first he could have had insane scores

195* off 57 balls across the 2 games

absolutely sensational hitting. and the fret was thick enough to cut with a knife. i've no idea how he hit the ball so well given it was apprearing out of pea soup. honestly at times you couldn't see the scoreboard from the pavilion it was ridiculous, i promise that's not an exaggeration. burnmoor dropped about 4-5 chances in hetton's innings and you couldn't really blame them.

burnmoor chased both times and didn't bat 20 overs across the two games combined, didn't lose a wicket in either.
