Where do we think NUFC will finish this season?

I would have thought Eddie Howe will have been asked to deliver top 10 or perhaps even higher.

“Broke a monopoly”…by winning fuck all 😂

I have said before and will said it again they are prime candidates for the ESL!! Now we hear - "why can't we spend what we want"?!!!! Because if you did and the transfer fee level and wages rose in the way that Chelsea did only about 10 of the EPL would survive. Fecking idiots.

That Pete Graves is on sky sports news just now and it’s like he’s on drugs. Jumping around and twitching all over the place.

Bottom 3. I can’t see how they have a stronger squad than anyone else who’ll be struggling

Chelsea were already competing about 7 years before FFP was brought in. That makes his argument invalid. The same 4 were already competing Arsenal/Chelsea/United/Liverpool and occasionally spurs.

Just been flipping on Twitter and saw a tweet from a mag fan saying glad of the new contract because Howe is the best English manager in the world, she wouldn’t swop him for pep or flop 😳 then in reply’s he’s made joelinton the best midfielder in the league ffs I’m actually worried there’s a crack epidemic breaking out
...but they aren't deluded at all....

He's clearly a good manager and did well there last year. But like anyone if he doesn't have a good start they'll be calling for his head.

I think he'll get them about 7th-9th this year.

Not to worry. They've always been like that. Just at present they're worse than ever , which is good in a way as pain of lack of success will hurt them more.
It happened in the Keegan era, they will get back to just being thick as shit and feeling entitled with no chance of winning anything, still as unbearable, delusional and unwilling to accept their place in modern football, but knocked down a peg
