Mansell, Hill....?Danny Ric seems a nice guy. Probably the reason he never hit the highest level.
Looking back, were any Driver's champions nice guys?

Are we saying Lewis hasn't been a decent person?Mansell, Hill....?
I thought we were going back in history...Are we saying Lewis hasn't been a decent person?
He's been up to his usual shenanigans in British Superbikes as well. A complete con artist.
some in the PF loved\love him.A complete con artist.
Same with how a lot of younger fans will remember Raikkonen more for his team radio exchanges rather than being arguably one of the quickest drivers the sport has seen at his peak, particularly during the McLaren years.A lot of the current generation of F1 fans will remember Alonso as being a journeyman driver rather than the blistering fast and mindblowing young driver he was way back at Renault at 05 and 06...in the same way many remember Villenueve as being a cash grabber for years rather than arguably one of the best new young rookie talents the sports has ever seen back in the 90s when he came over from American racing.
Outstay your welcome too long in this sport and people forget your brilliance at your peak.
Rosberg nailed it.
Both nice exteriors to the cameras, but both ruthless at work.Mansell, Hill....?
No surprise. Now they have investment Goatifi is toast.
Well played Alex
haha... agreed!Well played Alex
I'd like to see Gasly get Alonso's seat. He deserves at least a decent mid-level team again.
Yep. Not necessarily saying he's one of the elite drivers but feel he does deserve a 2nd chance and think his natural level is at a top mid-level team, i.e. Alpine or maybe even Riccardio's (whose time in F1 is surely up) seat at Mclaren. That's a matter of opinion. He flatters to deceive, in my book.
I’m sure they have to drive themselvesNot sure about nice but I am pretty sure all successful F1 drivers will be ruthless, driven, and highly motivated
Exactly.Same with how a lot of younger fans will remember Raikkonen more for his team radio exchanges rather than being arguably one of the quickest drivers the sport has seen at his peak, particularly during the McLaren years.
