The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

We were in the East Stand today, down near the front and right over to the North Stand side and you could see a constant barrage of missiles being thrown down onto supporters below. Seen 2 people being taken out with injuries after obviously being hit by objects being thrown from above.

I'm not usually one to badmouth supporters of any team but they were a set of pricks today. Walking over the bridge afterwards there was a couple of groups of them acting up and generally antagonising our fans. We were just saying 20 years ago they would have been put on their arses and sent packing but things are different these days.

The usual crying by you lot! Seems to me it happens every other match so sort it?
Some Cov fan has indiscriminately thrown a Stella bottle into a crowd of people, not knowing who it would hit. Luckily where it landed the two people are on hols and smashed on the concrete.

Hey if you want to have a tear up let's have it, but throwing bottles into families and fans having a day out at the match you deserve a massive hiding.

There has to come a point where the blame lies within our clubs health and safety people - there is enough evidence to proportionatly justify the banning of Coventry fans from our ground yet they still allow them in to throw items.

We do however need to get our own house in order with our away fans also - some are absolute ***** and are an embarrassment to stand next to at away grounds. We need to be putting people in the crowds to record it and stamp it out.
I hate to say it but the way some of our pissed up fans went on with the young staff at the refreshment kiosks at Hartlepool was embarrassing.

Exactly plenty of folk to oblige to a tear up. Throwing glass onto some poor fucker below is a cowards trick.

It isn't health and safety. They want nets and they want reduced allocation but the club is refusing.

The club don't give a shit about health amd safety and today isn't the only example. It's no surprise mind baring in mind they can't control a club shop.

you think people getting smoke bombs, bottle and darts thrown on them isn't part of the health and safety officers remit? It's all about prevention

According to his profile, he's down as from Mag country.

See if he's willing to get the Metro down, and meet a Sunderland based lad.

If people want a tear up and fancy it then fine let's have it. But some coked up stone island wanker hoying bottles into a crowd from the upper tier, no chance. To be honest let's hope NP do their job and have the cameras pick them out because someone could have been seriously hurt.

Surely in this instance Northumbria police have the call. If they can't sell tickets to fans who aren't wankers then they don't get tickets. That's now what the 3rd time we've had bother with them? Ban them completely.

The "good" fans among them can then police themselves and get rid of the bellends.
