The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Another game, more missiles thrown down on to the Sunderland fans in the North Stand.

Coventry fans once again showing themselves up after acting all innocent in the build up to the game.

We need action to prevent this from happening again.

Coventry should get zero allocation when they next visit. It’s every time with them.

Is there or why isn’t there cctv exclusively on the ‘known’ away fans of trouble making clubs

Get them before they get in stadium, proper security is needed.

They can't do owt it people stick them down their duds though. Only way to stop it is to put a net up (and have other things thrown through instead - like darts?) or close the stand to teams who do it.

In this day and age, and I’m sure it’s been mentioned already in replies to this thread but surely the stewards who are stood facing our fans, on the walk way section could have a body cam fitted which records away fans?

It would soon stop if ‘fans’ actually got caught for their actions.

Loads of places have the cctv cameras and signs saying they do but nowts plugged in.

We were meant to have cameras to cover this sort of thing. Should be easy enough to identify who did it. It doesn't seem to have been though?

Still doesn't stop it, mind. Needs to be proactive. The police are a shambles. Might as well just play Benny Hill music through the tannoy when out happens.

Simple thing to do is reduce the allocation. If the sensible ones among them can't self police the cowards then they don't deserve to get in either.

Comes to something when even the Mags and Boro don't stoop this low.

The club went against the advice of the safety committee and give Coventry another 500 tickets.

There has to come a point where the blame lies within our clubs health and safety people - there is enough evidence to proportionatly justify the banning of Coventry fans from our ground yet they still allow them in to throw items.

We do however need to get our own house in order with our away fans also - some are absolute ***** and are an embarrassment to stand next to at away grounds. We need to be putting people in the crowds to record it and stamp it out.
