The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Time to deduct points for teams that throw flares, soon cut it out.
 
There’s a very simple solution, fit netting in front of the away fans. It’s not fair on the vast majority who behave but if away fans are going to stay up there it needs doing.

This lad said that they hate Villa, but said obviously villa don't care about them. Said that most of their fans therefore see playing us as a massive game now after the past few games. Equally, there was some bother with Boro a few years back so that's become a "derby" game for them too.

I was there at the away game a few years ago where it booted right off. There lot were well up for it before and after the game, our away fans were caught completely unaware, and the police didn't have a f***ing clue. Saw plenty of ours take a kicking as a result. I presume if they want to make it a derby game or whatever, our fans will need to be more aware - or the same will happen again and again (since we don't really care about them).
 
Never been a fan of having the traveling support above anyway. Twice this has happened with these dick'eds so aye ban em. Hopefully they'll get relegated so we won't see em again anyway 🙂
 
Honestly If away fans can’t behave we need to reduce allocation and imo put up a net in front of them to block anything being thrown down on to our support.

Somehow I very much doubt it, because they know full well if they repeat their antics of today on the 13th August, a lot of them will be going home with their hideously malformed features, even more re-arranged.

Have to say that, living down in the Midlands, I know quite a few Cov fans and they are genuinely some of the most decent people I know.
They obviously have their share of dickheads, but it's wrong to tar them all with the same brush.
As someone has said, they shouldn't be up there in there first place. I'm actually surprised this thing doesn't happen more often.

Atmosphere was poor today. From South I could hear Coventry when they scored but we were very muted. Been talking about it in pub. New song book as some of those nursery rhyme songs have no heart to them. Shite
