Still think it was a good idea, nothing wrong in bring the community together, more effort should be made in projects like this.
Yes it brought the cost down, so what.
The ground looks class with the new seats, so it’s progress.
It’s a shame all the rest went to rat shit.
 

Could have saved a load of time, money and effort doing this instead.

Aye but SD would have had to tell the fans to bring there own Gas Cylinders, Safety glasses and gloves.......sure its something he would have tried though if it saved him a couple of quid

As one of the first on here to call them trotters, spivs and chancers and the three amigos(getting pelters on here i may add) ........i am also proud of what our fans did for our tired old ground..and please let's not change history .if you look back on here you will find several discussions about the state of the seats and I think I was the first to suggest making an event of it, involving the fans fitting the seats.....then one of the fan group members on here ran with it...........Donald has taken our club to the brink of oblivion, but it was the fans idea to be involved in changing the seats not his.

It was a fan idea and they supported it and I’m sure it was a huge hassle to organise rather than let a contractor crack on. It’s one thing they did which was ok. They failed because they appointed shit managers, give their mates jobs who were also out their depth and didn’t invest in playing squad
