Not at Newcastle. But at every other club yes.

Leicester fans have had very recent mega success, enjoyed it and while they'll be disappointed that they've not repeated it, they don't protest, petition etc.

Palace. Well run stable premier league club fans seem content to support them.

Brighton, West Ham, Wolves etc....

Basically outside of the Big 6, the vast majority of PL fans are quite content to support their club and live in hope of better over their lifetime.

Not at Newcastle. Because nearly a quarter of a century ago they threw away a title and they get a good crowd.

West Ham have in fact protested against their owners many times.

The rest haven't had reason to, so why would they?

The celebrations were cos of Ashley leaving not because it was the Saudis taking over :lol::lol::lol:

Has there even been a more delusional fanbase than this lot? Have they forgotten half them were dancing round with tee towels on their heads
and videos of how rich they were ? must have been a figment of my imagination.

Ahh... right it makes sense now

"Investment in the region", "#wewantsaudi", Parliament Square (when the politicians weren't there), "richest club in the world/Neymar making pies".....

It was all about getting rid of a man who ran the club on an even keel. What a bastard. Imagine running a business and not being happy at those red numbers.

I got it wrong I'm sorry.

Well mags, he's gone now. Time to start questioning the new boss, because so far they seem more sinister, bit very similar to the old boss. Oh wait, I got that wrong too... they said "project" therefore all is good and you never expected Neymar making pies after all....

Or maybe it was never about anything but the money being splashed to your fans. Money that very few of them will ever have.
meet the new boss...... the mags have got fooled again.

OK, lets talk about the Saudi Regime and their appalling human rights issues. Tell me, what are you doing to try and make a difference about it ? I can only presume your taking regular direct action or is it just confined to a Sunderland message board ?

Thus far we can only judge on what we have seen since Howe took over, and the performances from Jolinton and Burn have been great. As you correctly mention, results and atmosphere have been superb but its performances of players that ultimately win you games and those two contributed significantly to those stellar results.
I agree the atmosphere was great,,,,well when I say great I mean a square full of kids with their dads holding their faces so that they don’t miss the beheadings. I mean what an a atmosphere to behead,,,I mean behold. I would a imagine since you are a murdering of kids sympathiser you would also revel in such an atmosphere. Being poor in football terms but morally correct is more favourable to nice folk like myself. Take care, enjoy the seasons beheadings coming up.

I'd seen.a tweet from that Kevin maguire about the loan yesterday. The response was a bit sad i thought. He was absolutely swamped with questions desperate for him to confirm they were still on course to spend zillions, or statements just assuring themselves they were still going to do so.

As a support they are utterly obsessed about spending and spending. It's almost like they've become removed from being part of their club and now just want to be part of the glitzy PL/CL show and if they're not, we'll what's the point?

Saying they just want a club that does its best must be one of the most inaccurate comments in a long, long time.

All the while they have sold all moral principles down the road.

You lot haven't had a reason to. Hardly stopped you under Ashley.

Historically you've been a lower middle order top flight club. Bar a season or two where you were at the top... the majority of your owners and managers have delivered that.

But you still protest? Why?

Because you live in a world where those three or four seasons gave you a taste of where you think Newcastle should be.

History says otherwise

(Any evidence of West Ham getting MPs to stand up in parliament? Protests on Parliament Green?)

Best thing to do is reinstate the ESL..chase the lot of them and never let any of them darken football again...let football have a total reset and return to happier and better times!!

Oooof that article will hurt them badly. Almost as much as being relegated by Sunderland
Their legendary pride will take a beasting, from their favourite paper anarl
Maybe the BBC will stop calling them factually "The richest club in the world now" - rich owners does not make a rich club.

"Toon Future Back On-Hock" would have been a better title.
Oh! We’re Geordies! Can you lend us a pound?

Oh! We’re Geordies! To interest rates we’re bound

If I could be bought again in any place or time

I’d choose a richer owner, who doesn’t do war crimes

Absolutely nobody looks at the entire history of their club and the average finishing position when gauging the job the current owner is doing. I mean how daft is that?

Seems more reasonable to compare our owners against the jobs other owners have done and the progress they've made
