Would expect Gayle, Fernandez, Matty longstaff and Ritchie to go. Manquillo more likely to leave than krafth after his resurgence last year. Darlow will leave with Gillespie 3rd choice and pope/dubravka fighting for 1st. Lascelles will stay for another year at least.

2 more still to come in, a winger and a forward. Harrison would be good but anything above 25m isn’t worth it. Up front I think someone young with potential will be the priority. Wilson will start most games but a better back up than wood who can potentially usurp Wilson in the next few years is the way Howe will go. Will probably be from abroad as English strikers like Abraham and DCL will be an expensive backup and might not want to come at this stage anyway without European football on offer

At a second division side at 17/18 he scored 22 goals and 6 assists in 2457 mins so a goal or assist every 87 mins. Clearly a talent.

I also see it's a quote from the player himself being compared to Haaland

Not saying he can't play. Just questioning the Mag hype machine. I live in Germany and see bit of Austrian Bundesliga and had never noticed him.
He scored 5 of those 12 goals in the Austrian Cup. Am not denigrating the strength of teams in Austrian Second Division and Regional League Central but, at the same age, Haaland was scoring six goals in his first three Champions League games. Cameron Archer scored a hat trick for Villa. Are we chasing the new Darius Vassell or Julian Joachim?!

The actual successor to Haaland could be Adeyemi. He was the one that top clubs were chasing and has just signed for Dortmund.
 
It seems that Dan Ashworth's tactic is going on transfermkt, searching for a player and submitting that bid. Players with years on contract and selling club only motivated to sell if offer is too good to turn down.....

Harrison - 16.2m....not far off what they supposedly bid?!
Paqueta - 31.5m... will take way more
Botman - 27m - how much did they pay?

If he goes for 40 or 50 million, he's massively overpriced and its exactly the kind of business you'd have been up in arms about had Ashley done it

people seem to be saying they were waiting for bordeaux to go bankrupt and get him on the cheap. something ashley would have done.
