It’d be a waste of money to try and get the team into the top 5 when fans are so desperate to get attention as The Best Fans In The World. It’s like owning Billy Smart’s Circus and not having to pay the clowns.

Just keep them comfortable in the Premier League and allow them to practice their world-famous brand of performative stupidity. Job done.

He’s been an “ok but injured a lot” player for a while now. That could easily change to him just being shite or even just being injured. Due a shite season

The majority of the golfers signed up to LIV are either yesterday's men or also rans. Some of them might be well known but they are miles behind the younger breed.

None of:

Poulter
Westwood
Casey
McDowell
Stenson
Garcia
Kaymer
Mickleson
Watson
etc.

Are challenging for majors anymore. They see LIV as a retirement fund IMO.

I would say only 4 are top 10 or potential 10 players:

Dechambeau
Johnson
Keopka
Reed

I honestly have no idea why Johnson and Dechambeau have signed up. They are pretty much in their prime. Pure greed with no thought.

Or he'll have told PiF to sell up at a tidy profit long before then. PiF are an investment fund that exists to generate money through investment. The clue is in the name really

They'll be just as likely sell on as they do with other businesses once the value goes up... or the losses aren't sustainable.

The amount they'd have to spend to win titles "by hook or by crook" is not a sound investment strategy

I hear a lot from the mags that they can change their way of thinking and acting to be more like the West.

It’s absolute nonsense, it’s the other way around. The Saudis are proving to the Middle East how easy it is to manipulate Western people. Flash a few quid in front of their eyes and they are quite happy to prostitute their morals.

They wanted a PL team and they’ve shown how easy it was to be accepted and loved for doing very little. A few average players and they’ve got half a fan base wearing tea towels on their heads in honour of them. Throw in a Saudi replica kit and Saudi United is well on course.

It’s a strange one it used to be a good mix and split of SAFC and NUFC, a lot going when not at home (not attending away) people who could have a bit of crack and could get on)

As the NUFC performances got worse more started to come along and unfortunately the atmosphere changed for the worse.

A bit sad really as it’s a canny club, hopefully a few of the recent additions will fuck off now they’ve been taken over
