I always get compliments from every other supporter from different clubs when they find out I support Sunderland, except from them.

Nobody I meet who has an interest in football has a nice word to say about the mags.
 
Used to do this all the time. Badge of honour! Then got to about 16 and realised you had a far better chance of attracting the opposite sex if you whacked on a few designer labels instead. the gains were very marginal like 🙈😂

Also remember one year as a kid on holiday with a mate who was a mag - would have been about 93 / 94 so the absolute height of keegan mania - and stupidly agreed to count how many SAFC v NUFC strips we counted. That was a bit of a hiding. Not that many proud to show of Micky Buxtons stripes for some reason 😬
 
Have every England and Sunderland shirt from 1996 onwards and prob 50 more of other teams, very rarely wear any unless I’m playing 5 aside, the Eng 96 away shirt I sometime wear but never on holiboobs.

I think the Hummel home strip with the collar around that time (props the cup final year) was one of our finest.

I recall having an opposite reaction on one occasion over in Arenal one summer. I was wearing one of our tops in a club and a Glaswegian lass threw herself at me :eek: :)
To be fair she was very drunk, but it turned out that she was remotely related to Jim Baxter.
