Depends, sometimes I attach my phone directly on my ear with a lacca band as ear pods can be easily lost when pegging all ower (full pelt) enjoying life.

Not sure the OP would reach those speeds but if it was me, then yeh the lacca bands are essential. Using a pogo stick if you’re tired helps coz you can feel the weight and know uv lost notin
