I could see it being filled once. That being a home FA Cup Quarter Final against a team capable of bringing 20k away fans....... 80K is too big. If they built a new stadium then 60k is more than enough.
Problem would is it worth spending all that money building a new stadium in a less favourable location and the cost of demolishing the current one for the sake of an extra 8,000 seats?

No, not at all.
I am totally against the idea. I was when they were looking at Town Moor. The current stadium just needs an upgrade.
If they were to build, and the Arena site would seem the most logical as Town Moor is a no-no, 70K maximum and that would not be filled half the season.

I condemn their human rights record. It's awful. I've done it whenever it's came up online and in person. In what way are you condemning them?

And of course I'm delighted with the way they're investing in my club. Things are going great.

Two different reactions to two separate actions. Not that hard to understand, is it?
Mike Ashley kept your club afloat when the books revealed a loan of £45m taken out by Freddy Shepherd. He kept you in the black most of the time he was in charge

He didn’t lash out money on players like Chris Wood, Dan Burn and Kieron Trippier

What is your point?

What is your point?
My point is in both cases, you’re wrong. Two separate actions result in one emotional response.

Ashley was perceived as being tight with money so he was a tyrant of biblical proportions not a sports shop owner.

KSA led consortium perceived as being generous so they’re seen as patrons of the arts not a murderous regime using NUFC to sweep their bad reputation under the rug.

Full match report and line ups released from their behind closed doors friendly today.

Would have liked Sunderland to have done the same for last weeks.

Never mind. Fuck the Mags 😀

Who are you attributing those opinions to?

Can't be me surely? Plenty of evidence in my post history of what I think of the Saudi culture. I do think that Ashley was a shit owner though, plenty of reasons why
