Bad Food

When asked where it was the OP states Seafront. However, the response includes a quote which says YOLO. So, either the OP edited the response (why?) or the responder did (why?).
So the establishment doesn't take umbrage at being slagged off anonymously on a popular board frequented by many people from Sunderland?

I'd have flattened it and left a tip. Local businesses need supporting. The odd hiccup along the way is to be expected. No wonder places shut sharpish in Sunderland.

If that had been me, I'd have demanded my money back, false advertising is an offence. plus, I'd have taken a large amount of satisfaction telling them their food was shite and they wouldn't get my custom again, until you speak up for yourself you can't complain when someone takes the piss out of you.
This is correct response but sometimes it just isn't worth the hassle and the business will die of natural causes soon enough.

Why do places insist on serving bad food.

Stopped off for a coffee and bacon sandwich on the way to getting my hair cut.

On the menu it specifically says, “crispy bacon sandwich”. The reality is it was served in less than five minutes and the bacon was microwaved FFS so wasn’t crispy at all. Left half of it.

This is regarded as a decent establishment too.

There’s no need really. Will not return. 2/10 for coffee only from Goaty.
Did you have it out with the owner or come running straight on here to complain instead

Well If they do, they've brought it on themselves, I'd have no sympathy, I find it strange that people are shit scared of speaking up and asking to be given what they paid for, the amount of blokes I've drank with, that won't take a bad pint back is crazy, not only are you not getting what you paid for, but you're likely going to get the shits and a bad gut.

New place opened in canary wharf. 4.50 for a bacon roll.
Is that expensive or cheap for Canary Wharf? I haven't had a bacon sarnie for nearly 3 years

I agree. If they are taking the piss, I insist my pint is topped up as well
