Why do places insist on serving bad food.

Stopped off for a coffee and bacon sandwich on the way to getting my hair cut.

On the menu it specifically says, “crispy bacon sandwich”. The reality is it was served in less than five minutes and the bacon was microwaved FFS so wasn’t crispy at all. Left half of it.

This is regarded as a decent establishment too.

There’s no need really. Will not return. 2/10 for coffee only from Goaty.

Contact them about it.
You then have 2 options
1 - If they offer no reasonable excuse or apology - then it's up to you what you do taking it further
2 - If they apologise for this error, give them another chance if you see fit.

I won’t go back. Easy. They won’t fry my some bacon if it’s a microwave they use so my stance is to not visit again.

The bacon isn’t going to improve right now just because I say it’s shite.

Nah. Anyone who serves food as described by the OP is doing it on purpose, plenty of other establishments.

Why make the effort if you're not getting it back? Loads of businesses are taking the piss these days
 
Even microwaved bacon can be crispy. Some places seem to be struggling with the basics of cooking, it’s a specialist role after all,

Fortunately there is at least some decent competition now.
 
When asked where it was the OP states Seafront. However, the response includes a quote which says YOLO. So, either the OP edited the response (why?) or the responder did (why?).

If that had been me, I'd have demanded my money back, false advertising is an offence. plus, I'd have taken a large amount of satisfaction telling them their food was shite and they wouldn't get my custom again, until you speak up for yourself you can't complain when someone takes the piss out of you.
