Sterling to Chelsea

Sterling isn’t the most easy player on the eye doesn’t quite have the flair that makes fans go wow hence why people always say he’s overrated. His pace over a few years leaves people for dead and comes alive in the box, lost count how many tap ins he scores, his numbers speak for themself for a wide player. One of the first names on the team sheet for England aswell. Anything under 70 million in todays market is a bargain imo

Think I saw that game . Was he playing right wingback and looked like scoring every time he picked the ball up .
It was on Liverpool TV possibly this game

Oh right, yeah they've spent nothing, my bad. Thanks for correcting me again.
didnt day nothing. said relatively little. they sold hazard for £100m and then had a transfer embargo...so a lot of years recent spending has been that £100m, plus they got £40m for abraham.

It’s all about opinions and his stats are good , but I’ve never thought he was technically great, his strengths are his pace and running in behind, I was surprised he lasted so long with pep

Seems the top half teams are all strengthening significantly. Standard in the prem is going to be incredibly high, albeit I'd still expect City to win by a distance.

They spent an absolute fortune the last few summers. Even managed to spend big on kovacic and pulisic during their laughable transfer ban
they sold players for a lot of money though...hazard went for over £100m to real madrid...abraham was £40m to roma...tomori to milan for 25m..zouma was £30m to west ham..

They’ve always sold plenty of players, usually from the stock pile of youngins they’ve nicked from other clubs.
You said they’ve hardly spent anything recently, they’ve spent hundreds of millions as they always did under rom

He’s a back stick tap in merchant who’ll put balls in like that for him to score from 2yrds like KDB did for most his goals ?

Gormless Tuchel couldn’t get one of the best strikers in the world to get goals

'Back stick tap in merchant'

He's a quality footballer, great touch, skill, pace, scores goals.

As for Tuchel and Lukaku. Lukaku is good, he's never been in the very top bracket of strikers though. I'll agree that Tuchel has probably mishandled him somewhat but I'd put a lot of that blame at Lukaku's door as well.
