Durham’s T20 Campaign

Aye poor Stanley included in every squad and has carried the drinks for every game........... talk about youth development :lol::lol:

absolutely remarkable selection once again
McAlinden and Gibson are far from 1st team standard at present. Carse is in the ODI squad so our bowling resources appear very thin going into 2nd half of season. Bowler would have appeared more of a priority for our 2nd overseas.
In Franklin we trust🙄

Yeah not suggesting they're world beaters, but I don't see the point in giving McAlinden a tour of grounds and scratching his arse, surely deserves a game given he has been in every squad and not played?

The first team "standard" players we currently have are serial failures in this years competition. 3 wins in 12 and not an inch of willing to mix it up, utterly embarrassing.

It’s painful but much of it stems from Michael Jones poor scoring yet again. You can’t afford your opener to tootle along at a run a ball in T20. Puts pressure on everyone else.
I get what you’re saying but I don’t think you can really blame Jones for a couple of them just chipping it up to the fielder.

They need a rethink of their 20/20 strategy because it looks to me like the players haven’t got a clue what they are meant to be doing.

Even the running between the wickets is laughable.

Don’t think they have a strategy sadly. With Bedingham in form last season together with Clarky they invariably dominated the powerplay allowing the rest to play fairly sensibly. This season they have invariably been well behind the rate after 6 and just imploded.
