Pisstake of a team. In hindsight my words were a bit harsh but the fact remains they're being steered into the ground

I rarely get to the Riverside these days but went the other night and was shocked by the standard live. Yorkshire were a county standard side and Durham looked like an NEPL team with higher fitness levels. The gulf in quality was vast.

Been to the last two and all I can say is that particularly from a batting point of view, we look absolutely awful. We didn’t even look like getting near to that today and it seems that the game-plan is to nudge singles and try and chase an unachievable target in the latter overs. No balance or clue in that batting line up.

In other news, who was the lass commentating on sky?

Introduced as an England T20 player whose name I had never heard of nor can recall.

Once again Franklin doesn't front up to the media after another abmysal display.
2nd XI have a championship game tomorrow. It's a home game at Richmondshire. We appear to be disoriented in more ways than one at present.
Be interesting to see what sort of XI we put out.

Exactly, that’s what I said to my dad. We went together and the gulf between Durham and Yorkshire was huge. Yorkshire were some cold professionals, excellent placement of the ball, good partnership (something durham’s batsmen don’t survive long enough to form) and brilliant bowling. Same for Lancashire. Wouldn’t complain if they tried but they don’t.

Someone was giving Franklin dogs abuse at the end of the game. screaming at him from the pavilion. I am in the opinion that he needs to go but that’s a disgrace it’s not a Sunderland match. Hope the club take action against him whoever he was.

Instead of having a go at franklin why not have a go at this Australian they have on the T20? Knacked his shoulder (fair play I guess) and the games he’s played in he’s scored less than Chester would if he played in full kit. The point is that the club is pissing about with malingerers like him when they could be training up the youngsters.

Franklin, beefy and bostock HAVE TO ADDRESS THIS

Players like coughlin are close to being good if they get the support from the coaching
