What I found completely ironic about last night was the approach taken when batting. Last week against Lancs, when chasing a relatively low score, batsmen were practically swinging themselves off their feet and trying to hit the ball out the ground but instead holed out and we lost wickets regularly making the chase more difficult. All it really needed was to hit the ball into the gaps and score the odd boundary. Last night when faced with a big total to chase down the approach was totally opposite. Can't remember how many we scored off the power play but it was a mediocre effort. In fact the approach last night was what it should've been last week and vice versa.
