Aye, he motivated Bournemouth all the way into the Championship...
You missed the part where he took a tin pot village side with gates of 6,000 from Division 3 into the top league and gave them 2 or 3 seasons beyond their wildest dreams.
After last night’s debacle, Eddie is being widely pushed to replace Southgate for the World Cup. He’s star is shining bright after the miracles he’s worked.

Probably fishing however that is a ludicrous comment..... How many do you know?

I wont. The Derby is the only game i looked for when the fixtures were released. The NE needs a successful Newcastle & Sunderland.
Same for me about your latter point

After a few seasons in the Premier League the thrill of playing vs Man Utd, Chelsea etc disappears and actually becomes more of a bore knowing that realistically you’re probably only gonna get the odd point out of games v the top 6

How come Bournemouth are back in the Premier League?

1 word, money.

weren't they in trouble if didn't get back soon, sure they have financial problems.
Most clubs are when they have spent up to the hilt to remain in the Premier League.

Beheaddie bought a load of expensive flops on big wages. A couple of them have done quite well in the Championship which wasn't really the plan 😂

Once the parachute money runs out most clubs are screwed. Including ours without Short writing off the debts to be fair

Ha - I know you are on a wind up.

Fecking thoroughbred!

The truth will out - maybe he doesn't back himself when he (apparently) turned down Spurs to join a team bottom of the league with (at the time) relegation looking likely. Let's see how this all pans out and whether his 11.5 x 90 minutes are a good indication of the future when he is expected to get on the ball not watch it sail over his head - he had less touches per 90 playing for NUFC than in the three prior seasons with Lyon - HOOF!!!
So you’re admitting we’re not playing to his strengths yet bypassing him in favour of long balls to Wood. Wait until we ARE playing through Bruno, then you’ll see the impact he’ll have. He’s a true box to box midfielder, best I’ve seen since Bryan Robson.
Get your stat machine out and bring up his numbers for yards covered per game. While you’re there check his goals per game versus what he managed at Lyon. Might not have had as many touches but he certainly had more touches into the back of the net.

Log off.

Have a great day.

Why did I come on here ffs :lol:

Some of the recent comments have killed me.

He’s not a natural left back, so getting picked for England to play there doesn’t mean he’s better than someone who is a natural left back, who didn’t get picked at all.

They have the next Bryan Robson.

A team that finished 11th out of 20 is a top class team and not mid table.

the Saudi’s are changing, many articles show they aren’t, but but but we aren’t owned by the Saudi’s, *show them the major investors are the Saudi’s, but but but Disney, or your bitter

The stupidity is out of this world. Stavley is a genius, she’s 100% got the right club and fans.

"I'm pretty sure that the Premier league distinguished that pif were seperate to the saudi state?"

i'm pretty sure thats complete bollocks. they said they wont "control" newcastle. not that they didnt own them. as if thats true

If Ashley had signed Matt Targett you'd be f***ing seething man.
I'll admit I'd not seen much of him but having seen him I'll stick to the fact he's capable. Decent and most importantly he's better than we've got. That in reality is the way forward - bring in better than what we have.
Howe - despite my initial thoughts has up to now turned chalk into cheese. Joelinton the prime example. So onwards and upwards.

Dear me, your patter is absolutely lifting.

He hasn’t worked miracles though, he spent far more than those around him
