Working in Amsterdam

You like the place? Been a few times but just short periods so difficult to get pace of life, I remember it being pretty. Not after mad partys just like scenic and easy way of like. Its between here and back to Portugal thats all.

Well in the end I spent the grand total of four days there. The agency I was working for had told a few fibs about the job and we were basically on standby every week to fly over and it would get cancelled at the last minute, apart from one week when we actually went.

The office was in Sloterdijk which is an awful industrial area in the north of the city, but when we went out and about De Pijp seemed to be the best area. Would have loved to stayed there for a bit.

It's class mate, get over. One of the best cities in Europe.

This wasn't at all accurate. I got high as a kite every night, made friends with some wreckheads at the hotel and whitied my guts up.

I also managed to flood the room within 20mins of arriving at the hotel because I hadn't been to bed the night before the flight and I fell asleep with the shower running.

Done it years ago but can’t remember when, where or who with the knars
 
Years back, I went for 3 days. Spent 2 of the days in bed unable to move without whiteying everywhere. Each time I did move, the room would spin and move in toward me. 🤮
Don’t do drugs kids!

It's a very small country with an incredible rail network, so you can basically get everywhere within an hour or two.

Haarlem and Utrecht are both really lovely. Den Haag is also worth a visit. Rotterdam is unlike anywhere else in NL. Leiden is lovely.

Buy a bike and cycle it out of Amsterdam, there's quite a lot of countryside in the doorstep. The cycle to Muiden is nice along canals and through fields.

Cheers mate. Going this week actually so gonna have 1 night out city what do you prefer Haarlem or Utrecht?

Going to see Springsteen in Amsterdam but going to go a few days earlier than the gig and stop in Lieden for a couple of days. First time I've been over there so choose it at random really.
