Durham’s T20 Campaign

Big time.

Two spinners strangling the middle overs, how T20 is played. Pity we had MLF Scotty getting pumped all over for 7 games.

We’ve signed a spinner on loan for 1 game, pointless

Should have kept our own lad on We released last year

Couldn’t care if he took 10 wickets it sums up the short term strategy of the club right now

Been to nearly every game this year so I’m entitled to my opinion

We’ve 2 lads on loan here from different counties

That’s not how I want Durham ran

You’ve said before you think it’s only poor scouting that means we end up with local lads

So we know you don’t agree

Really wanted to watch Livingstone for

He’s bowled well I just don’t see the point of it

What’s the point? He’s going back next game

Robinson with the stumping too ;).

The point is, we were desperate for a spinner due to injuries and a very capable one was available.

I completely understand your stance on loanees from outside, but there’s a balance required. Clearly the coaching staff didn’t feel like what we have in reserve is quite capable or ready (or both) to make the step currently.

I just think it more sums up the lack of long term planning at the club

We had whitehead a local leg spinner who was doing ok but we just don’t invest in him in white ball and now scraping round for loans one season ti the next
I dunno why leke comment after they do well that’s not my point

Too many random players in the team just passing through

The time lacks an identity and you can see that in the results

A few mock the cal for local lads but all our success is based on that plus 2 quality overseas

The club press release said the remainder of the Blast - that’s 7 games. Unless I’ve missed something?

Course you are, nobody is saying you aren’t so calm yourself down.

I get your stance on this totally, but I’ve referenced my feelings above and to be fair, 1 of those has been one of our best batsmen in this competition, the other, it’s too early to say of course but he’s started well. Several people/pundits have commented about how useful the lad is as a cricketer in this format.

I’ve no doubt he will do well like but why wasn’t whitehead backed over a period

I just look at the XI tonight and it’s a random selection of players

Still hope we win mknd!
I’ve felt for a while that our bowling is our best suit and we’d be far better off bowling first as a tactic considering our batting fragility.

Totally agree

I’ve been perplexed Haven’t we won toss 2 times this week and batted?
Feel like the winds had a slight impact tonight.
