Depends a lot how high up you are. If you're in the first dozen or so rows it's not ideal (except near the half way lines, where it becomes less of an issue) but higher up is fine in the corners IMO which is where I've spent the last 10 years or so at the SoL. Worst seats are the first blocks along the sides next to the corners, you're rarely looking straight on during the game, but again worst if low down (and all IMO of course).I always think it’s gives a really weird perception / view of the game when you sit in the corners.
Sitting around the half way line gives a clearer view of the full pitch, sitting behind a goal gives a clear view from a different viewpoint but looking at your pic, it’s really deceptive in terms of distances, speed, movement etc on areas of the pitch other than in the corner infront if you.
Need to factor in seat prices and availability of concessions of course, but looking at where the main blocks of unsold seats are in the SoL gives a pretty good idea of where the least desirable seats are.
