So suger dadies for some but never safc?Short joined a carousel of despair spinning over the precipice of relegation........ he was always chasing his tail paying for players ,sacking managers ........................ i would prefer a short today over any of our owners...provided he had good structures in place ...... yes grow the club in a sustainable way but in footballl it woud be nice if we had owners who could put their hand in their pocket during a difficult period .....our present lot will not do that and we will be lesser for that........... there are lots of examples of clubs with decent financially supportive owners and i say again why not sunderland?

She hasn’t had owt to do with Russia since she was 6 year old. family are opponents of Putin, he literally took her father’s business from him and gave it to his mates. Wouldn’t bother me one bit if her or her dad came on board. Her hubby already is.

Nothing concrete known so fans playing best guess bingo! Some think its going to be big changes and sunny financial times others think it will be a simple transfer of shares to a KLD family member or friend from the spiv and his tea boy.......Consensus is that Donald and Charlie have deffo gone and nobody has a clue about anything else!..Usual suspects doing the itk tango across both boards.

Although I have kept in touch with this thread and the one over the road, I haven't commented on it up until now.
I know these lads all have the best of intentions and hear bit and bob's from this or that source and relay it (prehab, bob, wheatchief etc. etc), but is the lack of any tangible facts,(we'll hear in 3,5,7,8 or even 10 days) not starting to make people think that this may all be a load of made up bollocks (again).
I hope it isn't for the club's and supporters sake, but in a country where the press is usually able to smell the Prime Ministers farts before he has even squeezed his cheeks, hasn't even come up with a relevant name yet makes the cynical in me think the whole sale thing is a bit fishy.

Sadly share sales of safc isn't a big enough story for serious press investigation ..if its not the premiership or someone in a frogman's suit choking on a satsuma with his winkle hanging out the press couldn't give a shit about little old Sunderland. Your right though it is a tad fishy why kld doesn't want an actual controlling interest!

The fact that one if not two of the lads off sky has given there comments at least adds a bit of credibility to it, but you don't know if they were/are being fed bollocks. Who knows, but the longer it drags on without an exclusivity makes me sceptical.

This is exactly it, I have a contact at a National newspaper and I’ve asked them about it, but they have zero intention of spending a minute of there time to investigate it.
