If you can provide me a link to the plenty people saying it I’ll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong! You’re expressing your opinion time and time again. I’ve asked for a bit of clarity on some of your points and now you’re claiming it’s shutting down opinion. It’s not. You’re here still and expressing your opinion that ‘plenty of people’ are conspiracists.

In response to other points, I have no unshakeable agenda on anything discussed on here. And it’s hard to provide an opinion on rumours without names and details. If I was to ask ‘what do you make of these takeover rumours?’, I’m assuming you’d respond with ‘who’s rumoured to be taking over?’. If my response was to be ‘I don’t know’ to your question, presumably you wouldn’t able to express much of opinion on it.

In terms of the overall situation, we’ve been here before in the past. Little bits of info leaked to people and then whole stories taking off. German buyers, Spanish consortium, that crackerjack who went to Falkirk, Dell, FPP, KLD takeover…. it’s been an annual thing for five years. We’ve had ITKs, Roker Report and A Love Supreme all throwing their lot in with these stories of takeovers. Forgive me if I remain skeptical; particularly when the rumours circulating have the least amount of detail of any of the rumours to date.

The least amount of details is actually what makes me think there could be something in these. The club has been much less leaky over the last 12 months.

Perhaps yeah. I think there has been something in all of them in the past but for differing reasons they’ve collapsed or not been quite as they’ve been made out

You’d think in relation to some of the big hitters that the Dreyfus and Sartori families and their associates have that SAFC are a decent proposition for inward investment as our support in terms of numbers, passion and noise at Wembley (as a third tier club) must impress outsiders who may be looking in with a view to getting involved.

In the meantime as there are no definite names mentioned and no direct quotes from anyone, then it is no more than speculation and people hoping for good news which is a natural human instinct.

In many ways it would be disconcerting if news was leaked out into the public arena about potential new investment as big hitters mainly don’t operate in that way unless they need to put pressure on a company to sell in certain situations and then they may purposely disclose their interest. In the case of SAFC that’s not the way forward. The first steps have to be for Donald and Methven to go, however.

I’m not arguing about Nout, I went on for a second time this morning and recognised numerous usernames that used to be on here, that’s all.
